Dear Friends of Raisin’ Cane,

    We would like to inform you that we will be taking a break from doing farm tours, field trips and fall  farm activities for a couple of years in order to be more available to our growing family.  While our farm activities will not be open to the public, our market, Kim’s Kitchen and lunch café will still operate normal business hours.

We appreciate the support that our community has given us thus far in our family’s business and hope that you will continue to support our market.  We intend to re-establish our on the farm programs in the future.

 

We encourage you to visit other farms that offer agricultural experiences.  Check out the Georgia Agritourism Association to locate a farm in your area.  Their website is  http://georgia-agritourism.org/

Thank you again for sharing your students and families with us for the past five years.  The lessons that we have learned from this journey have been invaluable.  We look forward to bringing back our program in the future and hope to be able to continue our mission of educating students about the importance of agriculture in their everyday lives.
